Another year older

Well this week was pretty much the same as any other. however. It was great to go to a catalogue launch and see lots of lovely ideas to case. It is always so good to see and share in other fellow crafters enthusiasm too. If you would like to share in our ideas and enthusiasm, please contact me for classes, a demo or to browse through our stunning new catalogue. The end of the week I spent my birthday doing what I love, sitting in my 'Den' with music playing and crafting. Here's a couple of cards to share with you.

Another week has passed

How quickly the time passes especially when you are having fun playing with some of the new Stampin' Up! Goodies due for release soon. Don't forget to order your new catalogue from me, £3:50 and money back with first order of £25 or more, or better still why no host a party?
My son Dan has helped me out this week, he has set up Skype on my iPad to enable me to chat to Pam Irwin. (My Stampjn' Up! Enabler) in Philadelphia. We laughed so much both our sides were hurting  and we had to hang up. It was really good therapy to be able to laugh and craft together across the many miles together. As much I as I dislike technology because I am no good at it, I have to admit it has huge benefits and like everything the more I play with it, the better I will get. Have a good week everyone.

May is for MEMORABLE!

Hello and welcome to my first blog, and what a way to start as I sit composing this in Philadelphia with one Crazy Penguin. My wonderful husband sent me here for a ten day trip to meet a Stampin' Up! friend who I met over the net.  We've had a ball crafting and I have learnt so many new techniques and had so much fun and some sightseeing too.  We have been to Philadelphia zoo, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and yes I did do an impersonation of Rocky but I didn't make it to the top! Had a personal tour of the local police station by the Chief of Police, and thankfully didn't get locked up. Wow, life in their police force is so different to ours. Shopped lots for family and friends back home too, and lots of goodies for that very special little man in my life, my grandson Hayden. I've also been lucky enough that my son Dan has been so thoughtful and Facetimed me almost daily so I have not felt as homesick as I might have been if it wasn't for the wonders of technology.
I hope you have enjoyed my first blog and will revisit me to find out more.
